Yeah, I double-checked when I got home tonight, and Capture NX2 is defaulting to lateral CA correction being on, which is why the photos lack CA. My bad.

My RAW photos that have high contrast detail in the corners that show CA only need a quick and easy nudge of the Red/Cyan slider, and no Blue/Yellow correction in Bibble 5.1
For me Bibble 5.1 is fast, versatile and produces great .JPGs and .TIFFs. Images have balanced detail and sharpness with low noise. It is easy to tune color and exposure, has selective editing features and plugins. And, the interface is OK, unlike NX. Garry |

i just looked at some pice that i took with the d300s and the 17-55 , tree branches heavily back lit, viewed at 200% and there is very little to low CA
