I know that the D50 and D80 use the $17 ML-L3 IR remote.
What is the D200's version? Thanks? |

Webapprentice,
There's no equivalent IR remote for the D200. Well, at such a reasonable price! There's a Nikon MC-36 cable with timing settings for around $130. E-Bay sells a lot of knock-offs that work as cable shutter releases WITHOUT the timing features (which you can set up yourself in the D200 menu system) for around $40. Wireless The Nikon ML-3 will remotely fire the camera using an IR module that mounts to the hotshoe. Around $170. Max range: 26 feet The wireless WT-3 is a wireless remote control selling for a mere $600. It works with the D200. It permits operation and control of the camera from a computer, remote printing...everything but packing up the gear in your trunk! bhphotovideo.com has them |
