Hi people,
I'm going off on a road trip and I will probably be taking a lot of outdoor pictures, landscapes and some odd pictures (possible some night shots as well). It seems like I will probably get the D50. Just wondering if the lenses in the D50 kit set will be good enough, or should I opt for the base model and get a separate lense from either Nikkon or other lense companies? This is my first time buying a dSLR, I would like something light and not too expensive (I'm pretty rugged, I don't even wear a watch). This roadtrip (Tokyo to Hokkaido) is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, so I want to get something that will be reliable and will produce some great images. I'm also very interested in taking panoramic photos as well but I hear that I can use any lense for that. |

Hi,
Maybe you can try and ask that question in the Nikon Lens threads. I'm curious too since I'm considering the D50 also. And if still no one replies it's because the lens is too new and no one has the chance to test it out yet. |
