Can anyone describe where the control ring for manual focusing of the lenses that come with the D50 two lens kit is found in relation to the zoom control ring?

Usually it is on the very end of the lense, in front of everything. I don't actually own a D50, so that it for what it's worth. Just make sure you flip the lense to "MF" before you try to manually focus it.

Thanks for the info.
I've found a diagram in the pdf of the D50 manual. (The reason I'd asked is that pictures of the lenses didn't appear to show a focus ring. I was not sure that these lenses were not auto focus only.) ------------------------ Bill |

Just make sure the lens is switched to "M" first, so you don't wonder why it won't turn. Oh, and I never made this mistake myself. Ever. Really. I meant it.OK, so it was (and still is) my first day of DSLR ownership.Picked up my D50 today
