Just a comment but since I changed my D 5000 to a D 5100 one difference I have noticed is how quickly the batteries go flat and were not talking movies here as I'm not interested in them much. Just plain old stills.
Everything is set up as the D 5000 was which never gave me a batt life problem, I could change a few things I guess like the review time to "on demand". I must admit L V is much better and I have used that a bit more than I used to and I mean just a bit. I don't use the on board flash at all. Perhaps the new battery is not as good as the old. The AH and the W H seem very similar on both.
