D70 battery on a D90?

Hi!

Does the D90 use the same battery as the D70? I have 2 batteries from my old D70 and I would like to use them on a D90...

Thanks!

As shown in the D90 Manual the battery is a ENL3e
And the D70 is A ENL3
If the same as the D700.
The enl3e fits in the D70 but not the enl3 in the D90.

The EN-EL3 isn't compatible with the D90.

Thanks! I still don't have a D90. I was wondering that to see if I had to order a spare battery with the D90 or not.

Since your EN-EL3's are probably getting old, even if they were compatible, you'd probably have to replace them soon anyway.

And if you're keeping the D70, you can use your new EL-EN3e's in that.
