Ok, with exposure compensation on my d70, nothing seems to change. I take the same shot three times, each time varying the exposure (not by bracketing though, just pressing the button and rotating the dial) to say 0.0, -2.3, +2.3 and nothing changes. When I bracket the shots I see a difference, but thats it.

and also, the d70 manual is a little weird to understand, so can somebody explain flash exposure bracketing and WB bracketing?

thanks

Flash exposurebracketing varies the flash output rather than aperture or shutter speed.

White balance is adjusting the colour temperature to cater for the light source for example bright sunlit day, cloudy day, indoors by incandescent lamp. White balance bracketing takes a shot with the white balance as set and then creates 2 more shots with the colourtemperature a little cooler (more blue) or a little warmer (more red).
