Default D90 Frustration

Is anyone else experiencing an abundance of error messages with their D90? I continually get the error message saying a non cpu lens is attached (F--) be it a Nikon lens or an after market lens.

A new one started occuring while on vacation, CHA saying the their is an error processing the memory card. This one is occuring with new and old memory cards. I can put the same card into a different camera and have no problems.

HELP, I am seriously down on Nikon since my D70 had the F-- error all the time.

Sorry to see you having that problem. I have two D90 bodies and haven't had one problem yet.

I've had a D90 since they first came out and never had that error message; I use nikkor and sigma lenses with no problems.

I have a Tokina 100-300mm f/4.0 lens that occasionally gives me trouble, but it usually means that the Minimum Aperture Lock Lever has slipped out of place. Could that be what's happening with you?

I've also had a problem with a memory card as well, but reformatting it solved the problem. Have you tried that?
