Last year the Uk voted to Brexit from the EU and to say its been handled appaulingly badly is an understatement. Then again Plato was right all those years ago about politicians.
A few pics from the last 1hour of yesterdays event, where upto 50k people marched to Parliament Square in Westminister .. i actually missed most of the event as I wasn't aware that it was on so got there for the tail end. Mainly shot with the D800 + 50mm F1.8 @ F5 ISOO 100-400, but I took a few pics with the 85mm towards the end. Surprisingly I didnt take any shots wide open or at F2/2.8 1. Hello Hartj, Nice pictures you made! Thank you for sharing them. I still hope that this brexit will not go on, that it will still be possible to stop this insane action. Kind regards, Pascal

Hey Pascal
Glad you liked the pics. I'm finding with the 50mm, that people are more relaxed and happier to have their pic taken, not that I wasn't able to with the Zukios but its noticeably easier and less intemidating compared to pointing the 35-100f2 at someone. Need to work on composition and getting in a little closer with the 50 and have taken more portrait but then again I was also there as one of the marchers. I'm really hoping that Brexit can be stopped or at least the impact minimised but the people leading it here are like religious zealots, so reasoning and logic has gone out of the window. Their mantra is "Brexit - no pain no gain" and "Eat cake". ![]() Harj |
