Can someone share some settings for the kit lens for some fireworks shots tonight?

i have never shot fireworks and would liek to capture some cool ones.

can someone put me on the right trackj with a quick setting?

It looks like this is too late however the general rule of thumb is at ISO 100 use f8 and ISO 200 use f16. You need to be using a tripod and set to bulb exposure so you can control how long the shutter is open for. If you have a black glove or something keep the shutter open and cover the lens with it in between bursts to allow them to be layered. With a bit of practise you can get some great results.
