I recently sent my D40x back to Nikon for a warranty repair on my veiwfinder.
Istated on the return formthat I also had hot pixels, marking their position with a diagam. Thesefaults were noted on the acknowledgement, also on the invoice that came back with the camera. £6.50 postage and 10 days later I have my camera back .New viewfinder but still the same hot pixels. Now where do I go from here?. I could send it back again for £6.50 ($13) wait a week and get them back again or just forget it.Trouble is, a dealer told me if I dont get it fixed they can multiply. Is that true ?do they breed or what?is there any evidence that pixels multiply if not treated? I would be interested in any info. Thanks |
