Anyone here do any photo microscopy? I have recently purchased a NIKON D200, waiting for it to be shipped actually. Anyway, need a reference for using it on my lab microscopes to document my research. Any leads?:?

Not something I have done myself (properly) however a quick Google search for "35mm camera microscopy" has come up with quite a few options and it looks like you would need to get a special adaptor that will replace the eyepiece of the microscope. In the days of some of the first 2mp digital cameras (when I was at Uni) we did play around with using the longest zoom possible on a macro setting clamped to the top of a microscope and that was pretty good.
Anyway I will stop the ramblings and here are some of the links to look at. http://www.bfioptilas.co.uk/Couplers-l5749.htm http://www.meijitechno.co.uk/catalog...hoto-video.htm |
