Just received a really nice D80. Except for a few scratches on the LCD cover, it could pass for new. I'm curious... how do I tell how many photos this has taken ?
I snapped some test shots and then downloaded them to my MAC computer using I-Photo. I've taken 43 photos but the last one is labeled DSC 0076 JPG. Is there an easy way to tell how many shutter actuations are on this camera ? Thanks. EDIT: I just checked the firmware, it's 1.10 . Last edited by Logo10heli; Dec 21, 2010 at 7:33 PM. |

Thanks for the link, musket. I will update the firmware.
Some previous posts about this subject suggested the in-camera counter will be reset when updating the firmware. Could this have already happened with this camera and will it happen when I update to 1.11 ? Thanks. |

You can download Opanda exif reader and it will show how many shutter actuations your camera has taken.
