Are there already any rumors for a successor for the D80, like D80X or so?

Keep in mind it did take about four years for a camera to come out after the D100 and not even three months (maybe two) for the D40x to come out after the D40.

There have been only speculation at best and that the crop factor sensor will be either 1.3x or 1.1x so that the newer DX lenses don't become obsolete.

What features in a successive camera are you looking for that the current one doesn't offer?

:cool:Yesit's the D300, it's not really the successor of the D80, but from the announcement it looks pretty promising.
