Hi.

Im searching for aftermarket battery caps for my d2x.

Anyone know where?

I asume you mean the BL-1 battery chamber cover. I'm not aware of any aftermarket alternatives to the BL-1, only Nikon's. It's only $18 for one, I don't know if an aftermarket part can be made any cheaper, asuming the same build quality. If that's not what you meant, and you just want to know where to buy a BL-1, then put yourself on a retailer's "wish list" or back order list, as I can't find one on either B&H or Adorama, the two shops I use most. I waited nearly a month until B&H notified me they were in stock and bought two extra BL-1's. It saves time having a BL-1 already attached to a spare battery.
