Can anyone recommend a worthwhile book(s) on dSLR photography and/or the Nikon D70? I am an experienced amateur film photographer but just got a D70 andwant to learn more about how digital photography differs from film andhow to maximize the features on my new camera. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. RM

A Short Course in Nkon D70 Photography by Dennis P. Curtin. This manual is tons more simplified then the D70 kit manual.

The Thom Hoghan's "Complete guide to the Nikon D70" is very useful, and explains all -and more- the d70 controls & features.
I especially liked the explanation of the D70 flash modes, the differencesamong i-ttl flash & ttl flash, and the d70 metering and autofocus systems. Buy it. You don't regret. |
I second that recommendation:D
I have the book from shortcourses and it is very clear and easy to understand. They also have a lot of digital photography realted courses online that are free. They have really helped me get started with my D70 and high quality digitla photography. |
