From what I've been reading it appears that the D-80 doesn't have a true mirror lock up,but, rather, relies on a preset delay. I had some difficulties with "mirror slap" with my D 70 in low light ,long lens situations. Have any of you new D 80 owners had any experience so far with this? It appears that the D200 has a true mirror lock up but the only improvements from the D70/70S was to increase the delay slightly. Any comments or experiences greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Erik

It will only lock the mirror up for cleaning purposes. Amazing they can't program that into camera's as easy as "there you go!"...pffft. Nope, it has to be a feature for the higher end models :?

Actually, not so. The K100D has mirror lockup. Which makes me want to say it again...pffft.
