I've been intrested in getting a macro lens for my D70. The lens i'm lookign at right now is the Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro lens. i was wondering if there are beter lenses out there. my price range is arround $650 and i'm looking for a lens that is 100mm or more.

Thanks

Nico

Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG is excellent on my D70s.

See http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...724804#p724804 for an example.

I was tempted to buy a used one, but went with the 60mm 2.8D instead. I have read that the 105D is as good as if not better than the VR model. The beauty of the Nikon micro lenses is that there is no overlap, you can use all 3 lenses.
