wow, thats gotta hurt!

if the contents didn't get damaged it can only mean two things: either cameta are getting to championship pro levelpackaging skills or you were very lucky.

Just so you know they are local to me, I go there alot. Pretty small store, well advertised around my area but good service. I got my d70s there.

Zygh - all I gotta say is thank God I ordered the deal with the camera bag - it took the hit on the side of the box where it looks beat up in picture # 2... I'd say it was luck...

Again - can't say I blame Cameta but is seems that every time I order something online and it ships via UPS - the box ends up getting beat all to hell.

Earlier today, I ordered a D80 bundle similar to yours from Cameta.

Heres hoping my shipment doesn't receive the same UPS treatment as yours did.

I've ordered from Cameta (through eBay) a couple of times. On one order I got a defective SD memory card, and it was promptly replaced. Their bundles seem to offer really good value, and they usually (at least with popular models) offer so many different combinations (from body-only to "loaded") that you can find a package that doesn't give you a bunch of stuff you don't need.

My shipment came in today. The package wasn't beat up at all.

Everything looks and works fine. (Now I've got to put it all away until Christmas. :sad
