Please help me...let me know ,if this normal?....the small line cross from bottom to focus indicator......always disturbing my view.....huh...this my D80 view finder looklikes.....pleasee help me..do i need to do anything?

I don't know specifically about the D80 but they all have little lines - they are the wires that connect to the focus area boxes.

Used another camera..carefully shot...through the viewfinder :-|,..
or i need to do some cleaning for that...

I have the D50 and they are visible. I have seen the same question quite a few times. I have to say I never noticed them until someone else mentioned it.

Those are normal. Those lines are what powers the more-visible focus points, etc. It's kinda like the defroster on your car's rear windshield.

I was looking at the manuel that came w/ my D80, on about page 8 there is a "tip" at the bottom of the page that may be discussing this phenomenom. It basically states that these "lines that radiate from the center of the viewfinder" are normal. I believe it did mention something about it having to do w/ temperature ...I read this last night (but am at work now so can't reference exactly what I read).
