I bought two Matthews 40" C-PlusCentury Stands for $50, used. They are in great shape!!!Theyare regularly $173-$209 a piece, brand new.We bought them from a friend. Her husband was a photographer who had died in a plane crash two years ago. I had so much respect for him. At the time, I was 'kind of' interested in Photography. He started to talk to me about it. He let me use him camera some times. I wish I would of asked him more questions on how to set the shutter speed to this and thatand how the lightning works, etc...I know I will see him again though.

Good deal! I use Matthews stands at work and they are built to stand up to the most ham-handed production assistants. I will be in the market for a stand like this pretty soon because I need something to support a backlight and keep it out of the shot. (see my other post, about my new pictures, for the details.)
