Unfortunately my pride and joy Fuji s9500 was stolen from my car, with ALL my filters and monopod!! and my glasses....... grrrr.

The good news is as next weekend is "our" aniversary, my girlfriend (most amazing in the world right now) is going to buy me a D80!!

Question, will my SB-25 speedlight (the only piece of photographic equipment I have left!!!!!) work with the D80?

Pretty sure it will but there is jargon i've seen around the hotshoe that confuses me over the d80......

Ta muchly

I don't know much about this, but maybe this will be of help...it's from The Nikon Europe site. It seems to be compatible, but some features will not work.

yeah i found that burried inside late last night...

seems like it will work as just a trigger to fire it which is exactly how it worked on my fuji... more than fine enough as the results with a £20 flash from ebay are a whole world much greater!!
