Hi everyone,

New to dslr's, so I've got a question, of course.I ordered a D70s this week andI already have a Sunpak 383 super flash unit. Will this work on my Nikon, until I can save enough for a Nikon speedlight? Will I need a voltage regulator or something along those lines?

Thanks for any help!

Bob

It should work fine without any kind of voltage protection.

If you've already been using it on another camera, then you probably already know "the drill". lol

Just use manual exposure on the camera and set the ISO speed and Aperture to match the selected Auto Range on the flash, set your white balance to match the flash if it's supplying most of the light, pick a reasonable shutter speed that lets in the amount of ambient light desired, tweak as necessary for best results.
