I've checked the price of D40xBODY from the internet. It ranges from $270 to over $550. Can I trust the vendor that asks for low price? Do they have any trick I am not aware of? :?

Yep, I'd be very suspicious of some of those lower prices. There are just too many online vendors with less than stellar reputations.

Below is a link to a site where consumers are allowed to register their experiences with online camera vendors.

If the sellers that you've found are on it and click the vendor name to read what others have said.

I've heard horror tales!!!

Thanks a lot, KeithA39.

The price is too good to be true. It must be a bait. The website you suggestedtells memanystories about these guys, about howthey try to sale you other stuff at high price and what you ordered isout of stock and and how difficult it isto cancel your order and so on.

Thank you again. Wish nobody falls in their trap.

Another commonly used place to check up on vendors is http://www.resellerratings.com/ and also thanks to KeithA39 for his reference.
