Hello, I went and did it. I ordered a new toy. I am waiting on ups anticipatng the arrival. I hope to enjoy this piece of equipment, as I am totally new to DSLR. I used to use film, back in the day. Hopefully I havent went way over my head.

I could use some suggestions on a case or bag. I do not intend on a bunch of lenses, but would like to have some kind of top loader that would fit the camera with lens and be able to carry the charger, batteries, memory cards, etc. I would also like to think I could add a lens later if I so desired. I looked at the "thinktank" holsters, but dont think they are hardly big enough.

Any suggestions would be appreciated,

Thanks,

Randy

I got a Lowepro backpack-style camera case. It holds my D40, 3 lenses, flash, battery charger and lots of accessories. Since the camera/lenses are so light, it's not too heavy to tote around or wear on my back.
