Choosing a camera bag is much more challenging than I ever imagined. Either the bag is too small or too large. Here is what I need to carry: a D40 w/18-135mm lens attached, a 70-300VR and an SB-400 flash. That's about it. I like satchel or messenger type bags but none of the stores in my area carry any of these. Can someone recommend a bag for my gear please? Domke - F-5XB, F-803, - which models? ThinkTank Change Up - other? Crumpler - 5 or 6 Million Dollar - 6 seems too large??? Thanks!!

Have a look at the Lowepro Offtrail 2 http://lowepro.com/Products/Beltpack...f_Trail_2.aspx

I used to use one until I got one too many lenses!

I found a Tamrac Adventure 4 messenger bag to be a good size for my D50 with my 70-300 lens attached and room for a couple of smaller lenses. I got a good deal on it from an ebay seller, too.

Thanks. I managed to pick up a Crumpler 5 Million Dollar bag that fits just right and a Lowepro EX-180 when I need a little more room.
