Has anyone taken delivery of their D300 yet? Do you know when they start shipping out to the stores?

Nikon Japan, just released their offical D300 debut date. Which is the 23rd of this month (November). Will it be the same for North Americans? I hope so. Though, here in Canada some websites say December 10th. So who knows. I'd give it a few more weeks. Some might get them early. Just as some Canon 40D owners did. They got their cameras roughly 3 weeks ahead of the offical debut day.

The sooner the D300's and the D3's hit the market the sooner we will get the test reports. The sooner I'll be able to make my choice.

Ahhh... just preorder the D3. You know you want one. ;-)

I've been pretty darn impressed with this new sensor from images I've looked at so far. Nikon did this model right (of course, the ~$5k price tag might be a small problem for many potential buyers). :-)

HEHE!!! JimC the "evil" moderator!!

Maybe I'll flip a coin when the time comes.

Have you seen the picture of the fireman on the Nikon USA website? That was damn impressive. Even if they did do some PP. Notice the incredibly clean image and the amount of detail.

So, when did I become the "evil" moderator? lol

I always thought that I was the "nice guy" (unless you happen to be a spammer). Then, you just might have a problem with me. :-)
