Default Best Digital SLR - Fuji S2 Pro or Nikon D100?

Hi all,
Sure that this has come up, but I have not come across the response (actually one response was in another lanaguage).

Which is a better digital camera - The Fuji S2 Pro or the Nikon D100?
....How do they differ (anything significant)?

Thank you

I have a friend who had a D100 and loved it. He gave it to his girlfriend (long story) and needed a replacement. I got the S2 just to try it. He isn't thrilled with it, but likes it enough to keep it. He loves the resolution, he can't say that enough.

I don't remember his complaints, though.. (sorry.) I know he liked the Nikon software better... but I thought there were things about the camera as well.

Default I love my D100

Like the subject says, I love it. I've had it for less than a week. Friday night I took about 50 pics at a baseball game and Saturday I took my son to a local car show and shot 70 more. The camera was absolutley flawess! I'm impressed with the resolution and ease of use. Probably because I have a Nikon film 35mm, thats why it seems easy to use for me. Oh yeah, the battery seems to last forever!!
I can't really speak for the S2, since I know nothing about it. But as for the Nikon D100, you definetly will not go wrong picking one up!! Good luck with which ever camera you decide on.
