The D300 delivers beautifull jpeg pictures , no real need to shoot in Raw .

You can choose between 2 jpeg compressions : size priority - optimal quality

When you shoot in optimal quality you`ll get fantastic results with no need of post treatment..... razor sharp pics garanteed , but carefull the file size will vary dramatically from one picture to the other , some can be 20mb large.

Have a good look at my pictures taken with my D300 and a Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lens.

Just had to tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed our trip to Paris with you. It was exciting to say the least. At our age, I don't think we will ever get across the big waters, so it was a real pleasure.

The photos were fantastic. Enjoyed the entire slideshow.

Thanks for sharing.

I didn't get no free ticket to Paris in my D300 box!!

You took excellent advantage of the situation. Nice pics.

Beautiful galleries, looked at Alsace this morning. I have noticed the same lady in many ofyour photos. As she is walking away in many shots, or some distance from the camera, I was wondering if this a friend along with you. Or maybe, you are doing self photo shots with tripod and timer.

Your photos all seem to be so professional, it is a joy to tour with you.

Ah, going back and look at these again, I notice that Chris is your wife.

BTW, waiting on a D300 with 18-200 VR lens.
