The Nikon D100 supports Nikon D-TTL and not the TTL present on the Nikon 35mm cameras. However it's a standard hotshoe plus extra contacts for the Nikon TTL. Any hotshoe flash will work in manual mode or you can get a hotshoe to PC cord adapter and use a manual or automatic (not TTL) flash that way.
