Why cannot I select 5 fps ? My camera proposes only 4 fps, and I bought that one for its 5 fps :-) What am I missing ?

Check it again. The manual.

All kidding aside. You can choose CL or CH aside from S on the dial. The CH setting is 5fps. CL you can choose 3 or 4fps.

also if the shutter speed is below a certain value(I dont know it for the D200, I have a D100 and D300), there is no way to get 5 fps.

Was confusing because the menu is not CL/CH sensitive, i.e. my camera set on CH, the menu stills only proposes 4 fps max. But the info button mentions that this is only for the CL mode :-) So camera being on CH, menu talks about CL. Oh well...
