I inherited a Nikon F100 and it has all sorts of lenses. I am not a huge 35mm fan and would rather have a digital SLR. Will these lenses work on any of the dSLRs?

Hi PhotoHappy,
Generally speaking the older lenses will work on the digital bodies...it's just a question of which features (eg. auto focus, metering, etc) will work. Nikon probably has the highest number of compatible older lenses than any of the manufacturers. Here's a table that may guide you in finding out the details of the particualr lenses you've inheirited. Good luck!

The new cameras since 1986 have had AF. Using a lens without AF or the ability for the camera to meter through the lens is taking a giant step backward.

That's the reason those lenses are about 1/3 the price of AF lenses.
