Just because you may want to use video doesn't mean every user does. I've had a camera with live view for the last 3 years and I've never tried the feature once. If people don't want to use the dslr for video why should they try it? Because you like it?

I guess I should try my video at least once to see how it works.

I'm going to Las Vegas next week for a big awards event for my wife who works at a bank. I'll try it out at the awards banquet and report back how it works. Shouldn't need to auto focus as the awards presentation is in one spot.

I was not saying he should use video, i was stating that it is very simple to.
