Default Has any one received their D3s' yet? :)

A few in the Nikonians forum already received their D3s' and have just begun shooting with them. Posted a few photos at high ISO (e.g. 6400). Very clean images. As they should be being that the D3s has a max inspec ISO of 12,800 and an absolute max (Hi3) of 102k ISO.

If you have received yours and have begun shooting what are your impressions thus far?

Looking forwards to reading some reviews knowing already what I'm going to find.

Interesting the initial pricing is already fluctuating. Depending on which shop you go to. In Toronto the pricing ranges currently between $5400-5700.00 CAD.

Though, the D3s hasn't officially begun to be sold yet in Toronto. I think Canadian camera shops usually get their stock a few weeks after they are available in the US.

I wish. I'm not sure anyone here can respond to this question. I don't even know of any members that owned a D3, and there are only a few that even have a D700. Most members are shooting the consumer level gear (D90 and below) with a few more shooting with the D300.

I would be part of the D300 group. Just curious about the new D3s and members of this forum.
