I'm considering dumping all my Olympus gears and jump on the new D7000. But I could not find any D7000 available in US? All vendors are on back orders. When will be the next shipment of D7000?
I know there are several used ones on eBay but the asking prices are even higher than the new ones ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, it is back orders, I talk to some of the big camera stores. Nikon is trickling in their orders. Some shippments they get 4 other they get 15, and they put in orders for 100. So it is pot luck if you can find it, and if they do have them. It might already been sold on pre orders.

They were slow in Canada as well, but now it seems Nikon has all the stores stocked. So, i'd say you will see 7000's on the shelves soon.

The demanding is just too much for this camera, it's pretty much sold for $200-300 above the MSRP every where if they have it in stock. I was lucky to find a kit package available in a local Best Buy store so I just join the D7K team from Olympus

I've been watching the B+H website for the D7000 to be re-stocked. Just a day or two ago I checked and it showed the body in stock. I was so surprised that I hit the refresh button for my browser and they were already gone. I think many folks have pre-paid and any shipments received don't last long.
As for me, I've decided the D7k is more than I need right now... both feature-wise and dollar-wise. |

It looks like ritzcamera.com (a.k.a., wolfcamera.com) has them.
