Default Nikon D5100 Released

Welcome Nikon D5100.....

I have been a canon user...but now switched to Nikon D7000, first i was not comfortable with nikon..... and was thinking to switch back to canon...

But because of some help from this forum.. i m really liking my nikon d7000, today Nikon D5100 been released and it does look like a fantastic camera in its category..

I really like Nikon the way Nikon has classified its DSLR....

All the best to ppl planning to buy Nikon D5100, sure they will not regret their decision...

Ken Rockwell has a quick look at it at his site:

We will just have to wait and see how this one performs. The most attractive part of this camera to me is the swivel screen. This allows framing a shot from a higher or lower perspective which I enjoy doing quite a bit with the D5000 and my Canon G11. Makes for children shots and pet shots a whole lot easier and great for street candids as well.

It will take a bit of time for it to be out in the hands of users and that reviewers get a copy to make their determination on what is good and not so good about the Nikon D5100. Specs wise looks good. Hopefully, it doesn't take a nose dive like the Canon T3.

How long do U think it would take for the reviews of D5100 to come in? How does it compare to others on paper? I was abt to get the Sony a580 when the new Nikon was announced.
