Default D70 memory compression board

Hi, I have a problem with my memory compression board in my D70 and was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase one of these?

Cheers

Paul...

You've got me confused (what you mean by "memory compression board"). Note that the D70 is a very dated camera now, so they're not worth much on the used market and it may be easier to buy a replacement camera versus trying to fix one.

BUT, that particular model did have some electrical problems that Nikon users tended to coin as "BGLOD" (for Bilnking Green Light of Death) that resulted in a recall where Nikon was fixing them at no charge, even when well outside of their warranty period.

So, that may be what your issue is. I don't know if they're still doing that or not (fixing them at no charge). But, here's the service bulletin about the issue, so you may want to check into it:
