Default D5100 Lens last Time..Help

Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di LD VC....Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S Nikkor

Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD LD Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S DX

I have narrowed it down to these 4 lens...Please once again could I get your input..This is the last time..I want to order 1 of these lens and hopefully get the best one..fast autofocus...sharp pics..Thanks again for all your help

None of them is particularly good. But of these four, the Nikon 55-300 is tbe best.

It seems you want a single lens to do everything. What you'll get is a single lens that does nothing well.

I am not a professional..Amateur just trying to find an affordable lens..that does a good job..Have any suggestions??

What zoom range are you looking for? You are asking about three different classes of lens, APS super zoom (18-270mm), full frame super zoom (28-300mm), and medium telephoto (55-300mm).

In ideal circumstances, all those lenses will produce excellent images. In not so ideal circumstances, a professional will be able to eek out better images from those lenses than an amateur could. I suggest that, instead of trying to find a single jack-of-all-trades-and-master-of-none lens, you look for a collection of lenses, each of which will serve some purpose. You'll get better results, and it could possibly even cost less.
