Default Nikon on auto focus gives blurred images

I have been using my Nikon D70s for about 4 years now. One year ago it fell vertially on its lens (ouch) and one of the "rings" inside the kit lens was broken. I got the lens repaired and the body checked for damages.

Since then I have not been able to see sharp images in the view finder. I tried set it right by changing the diopter corrector but it doesnt help. Would it be possible that the auto focus is damaged and is not focussing properly or would it be possible that my eye sight ( i use glasses) has changed so that I am not able to see properly focussed images. The trouble is when I manually focus i am able to see sharp images in the view finder but when I click a photo on manual at that sharpness setting, the photo is blurred.

The AF system, which is in the base of the camera body, might have been damaged or become misaligned. Have a good camera shop check it out.

You dropped it...

Take it in for service and have both the auto focus and the manual focus
calibrated...

I only got the lens repaired and not the body. I need to get the body checked as well. Thank you guys.
