Komputerbay is an Amazon retailer. This seems to be a storebrand SD Card. It's advertised as a Class 10 card. The SD Card Classes are "supposedly" certifications that a card will meet a certain minimum level of performance, but no one really enforces those certifications. Manufacturers can and do misrepresent the levels of performance their cards are capable of. This is supposed to be a Class 10 card, which is supposed to perform at not less than 10MB/s, yet Komputerbay also advertises it as having a maximum Write speed of 15MB/s which is very slow for an SDXC card and suspiciously slow for a Class 10 card.

I suspect that the original manufacturer has lied to Komputerbay about how fast the card is, and Komputerbay is lying to consumers about how fast the original manufacturer says it is.

With all that going on, I'd be very suspicious about the "64GB" thing, too.

It's always safe to say that.

On the other hand, the more expensive it was, the more inclined I'd be to believe it.

How much did they want for it?

Thanks for your thoughts, I'm going spend the extra $'s and get a better known brand name.
