Default Is the D3 discontinued

Was thinking of getting this camera but it looks like some of the sites say it's discontinued. Is this correct? I have heard nothing but great things about this camera. Was wanting to get something to shoot my sons playing baseball. Any other suggestions?

Good luck with getting one anytime soon.
A couple weeks ago I got a mint D3 with a tad over 18,000 actuation's.
Got it for $2,700 with 3 new batteries, 3 Pro 8GB CF cards.
That beats the heck out of over $6K for a D4 that has a loooong waiting list.
