Default White Heron

Saturday was a beautiful day here in Long Island and I took my D600 + 300mm f/4 + TC17 to the Oceanside Marine Study Area and I had a blast, so many photo opportunities... feels good to shoot again my my gear.

Nice sequence.

I have some that come in my front yard and appear to have a route through the neighborhood. Great watching them stalking along the flowerbed. Really keeps the lizards in check.

A really well done series.

The White Egret is a particularly graceful bird when landing or taking off.
And, you've really captured this one very well.
