Default D70 Bandwagon ?

So aside from myself who is waiting for this camera to hit a vendor shelf like a buzzard waits on a gut wagon... who else is on the bandwagon?

Having a few lenses and an f4 that I love ... I'm eager to run out and get this cam the sec. it hits a shelf... Who else is taking the brave plunge on new technology on an *unproven* product?

You buy me one and I'll take the plunge with you.

Honestly though, lack of available funds is the only reason why I wont be getting this camera for what looks to be a couple of months ( Birthday in June, how convenient )..

You do realize both images you posted above were post processed with photoshop 3 & 7 ??

The first image youre viewing a night scene, through a moving cars windshield, with snow falling in the background??

I see the "noise" your mentioning but look at the exif data .. most of these shots in that gallery were poorly taken , w/o flash (where it was obviously needed), slow shutter speeds ... and poorly composed...

Look at shot #9 which is a better example of good (better) photography.....

The best equipment in the wrongs hands will yield poor results.. I wouldnt blame the camera in these photo's... look at ISO and EXIF they were shot at.....
