Default D100 white balance with studio flash

Hi! Is anyone there who can help me?? Unlucky, when i take photos with Nikon D100 and studio flash, I can't get a good balanced white: photos looks quite "warm"
I've set my D100's white balance on FLASH, then I tried with flash +2, +3...... the result isn't good yet! Is it possible to "read" the right colour temperature by the PRE function? if yes, can you explain me step by step how it's possible???

Thanks in advance to everyone who can help me!
have a good day

What Flash are you using? Brand, Strobes? If you are using Pre-set white balance I don't think you can, for getting the flash temp set . I get great results with my strobes.... hmmm I need to think on this... I would think since you mentioned "Warm" meaning blown out? You would go the other way -1 -2 -3 and so on... Let me do some checking...

Read pages 55-57 on your D100's manual.
