The D1H is a wonderful camera geared to the action photographer (sports ect.)

However it is very low resolution by todays standards. If I recall, under two Megs.

It's really obsolete although if it's cheap enough and you're already commited to Nikon lenses it wouold make a greatb additional camera.

I have a hard time deciding what to do.. as i have asked a couple of ppl.. and some agree with you.. and some do not.. they claim that you cant even compare the 2 cameras.. that the d1h both feels better and performs better...
would be thankful for all the advice i could get...
(cant get ahold of a d70 yet to compare either)

have a good weekend all you out there

PS: sorry for my spelling

The D1H is a different beast altogether...

It is a professional grade camera .. Based on the F5 Body, weather proof w/gasket seals... and unless your planning on enlarging beyond 8x10 often it is a great camera bar none... Sure the technology is a little antiquated but the speed/build/buffer of this camera are still very impressive....
