Default D500 With the Big Gun

The water has receded so I lugged my big glass to the falls today to baseline it with the Sigma 150-600:

PS. 'Coca-Cola' bottle is not quite an accurate description...
It's more like two large cans of Lipton Iced Tea mix stacked on top of one another, and it weight probably the same too!

Those shots are as good as it gets!

I have that lens... Sigma 150-600mm
Also sold my D7100 and my new D7200 is suppose to arrive today via UPS.

While I agree with the comments about the lens' sharpness, equally impressive is the auto focus system in the D500.none of your images have "easy to focus" against blue sky backgrounds but rather complex backgrounds that make it really difficult to lock onto the subject
