Hi All,

Had my D70 for about a week now after upgrading from a Canon G5. It's is a big jump for me so I am still learning the ropes. So far I can only say good things about the D70!!

Can somebody please help me with the custom curves option in Nikon View...where can Iget hold of some good ones???

(if I am am on the wrong track, please help! :?)

I do not believe that curves can be loaded through Nikon View. From what I can tell, you have to have Nikon Capture to load these.

Here are a list of all the curves available

Basic 152 = 128,152

Basic 159 = 128,159

David's Midtone Boost = 99,120 141,171

Fotogenic's Provia v3.2 = 47,52 159,181 249,249
Fotogenic's Provia v3.3 = 47,52 128,149 249,249

Fotogenic's White Wedding v3.3 = 44,64 128,169 246,244
Fotogenic's White Wedding v3.4 = 32,45 64,91 224,224 248,246

JT's All in One = 27,35 64,82 90,118 191,207

OldSkoOL's Midtone Enhance v2.16 = 30,30 108,116 195,197

OldSkoOL's Midtone Enhance v3 = 30,35 108,125 192,193

OldSkoOL's Midtone Enhance v3h = 55,70 118,145 209,211

OldSkoOL's DLT Curve = 30,35 85,100 227,227

I was confused! Was actually talking about Nikon Capture 4.1.

Thanks for the info dcrawly - I will have a play with them on the weekend! :-)
