Just curious, has anybody noticed any improvement in their D70s after doing the firmware upgrade?

Thanks in advance

Yes, however this could very well be a placebo effect... as I've read the threads in the other forum on this too:

I'm perceiving aslight increase in subject sharpness in my images after the upgrade. I have not changed the way I shoot or settings I normally used (Aperture priority or Manual mode, -1 sharpness, colour modeIaand Provia v3.4 tone curve).

Could the firmware update have been done at the factory? I just got my D70 last week from a local camera shop. When I check the firmware version on the camera it says A 1.01 and B 1.02. I did not perform the update myself and I don't think the camera shop did either... the camera's first time being turned on was when the sales person was showing me the camera. I just thought because this update was so new that it wouldn't have been done yet on my camera.

The update has been out for several weeks, and you have it.
