Default Dust removal on CCD ok??

sorry if this has been covered. What is the consensus for self cleaning the ccd on a d1x?

Start with the easy way. Get the AC adaptor and turn on mirror lock up. Use a bulb blower to get dust off CCD.

I do this every day after use to prevent any build up.

If that doesn't work, you can clean with a swab and cleaner. This gets much trickier. Check out www.bythom.com for how to do this.

Hi new member with a truck load of dust on the sensor...just want to know 1) is it normal? 2) should bulb blower cleaning be done gently or vigorously? Kind of open ended qs I know, but this is ruining my landscapes particularly.
