Default Where to plug the MC-20 remote cord on D100?

Hi there,

The manual that came with my D100 lists the MC-20 Remote Cord as an "approved accessory."

Descriptions of the remote that I've read say it's a "10-pin connector."

Does anybody know where it plugs into on the camera? The USB connector? Do I need an adapter, or will it plug right in?

Thanks!

Mike

I beleive you will need the MB-D100 vertical grip/battery pack for that. They run around $300 USD. Otherwise, the D100 can use a (mechanical) shutter release cable that screws into the trigger button. I have used it a number of times.

Default Examples of good mechanical triggers?

Can anyone recommend one or two mechanical triggers that they have had success with? (that are compatible with the D100).

Thanks! (I love this forum!)

Just go to your local shop and ask for a shutter release cable for your camera. Take your D100 with you to be sure.
